Jemena aims to be a good neighbour by building open and productive relationships with local communities. Through our relationship with Landcare Australia we are continuing to support local communities in urban and regional areas in restoring and revitalising local environments.

We have regular contact with customers, local businesses and other members of the public, enabling us to address their local welfare, environmental and other community needs. Wherever we can, we aim to build a sustainable relationship with all the communities in which we operate.

Jemena proactively identifies the environmental aspects associated with its business activities and implements measures to continually improve its environmental performance. With the continued expansion of Jemena's business, the environmental management system will continue to expand and evolve to ensure environmental performance is maintained for all current and future Jemena activities.

Jemena has an active environment policy, which lays the foundation for it to manage and implements a fully certified ISO 14001 system across a number of our facilities and offices. We are committed to ensuring that the organisation's operations do not place the environment at risk and we have an in-house team of environment professionals to advise and support the business.

Jemena also participates in voluntary initiatives that aim to enhance environmental performance across industries and in the general community.
