If you've experienced damage to property, other than an appliance, and you believe Jemena is responsible, you could be eligible for compensation.
If you’ve experienced damage to an appliance go here to find out more.
We know making a claim can be tricky. So to help make the process as smooth as possible, we’ve provided all the information you’ll need below.
Please read this information carefully, because once you start your claim, you won’t be able to save your progress and come back to it later.
Here’s what to prepare in advance to complete the claim form successfully and what to expect after you’ve lodged your claim:
Please note: Invoices, receipts, reports etc., must be from a qualified and registered repairer, written on an official company letterhead and have the relevant ACN/ABN and contact details. If a damaged item can be repaired, but you haven't arranged repairs yet, please provide the written quote.
The more evidence that can be supplied the more this will assist us in assessing your claim. Without supporting evidence Jemena will not be able to process your claim.
Please note that completion and receipt of this form is not an admission of liability by Jemena Gas Networks (NSW) Ltd (‘Jemena’) or Jemena Electricity Networks (Vic) Ltd (‘Jemena’) and therefore does not necessarily mean your request for compensation will be paid.
