Western Sydney Aerotropolis
The largest development for gas infrastructure over the next 20 years and beyond will be to cater for the Western Sydney Aerotropolis. Scheduled to open in 2026, the airport will be surrounded by industrial, agricultural, commercial and residential developments. The primary focus areas of Jemena are: Aerotropolis Core, Northern Gateway Precinct and the Airport itself. Read more
The Edmondson Park growth area is already servicing gas customers off the medium pressure gas network. Jemena’s overall plan for the area is to ultimately provide another source of gas supply by constructing a new steel gas main. Sections of this project have been constructed in conjunction with other works such as Edmondson Park train station and RMS widening of Campbelltown Rd. Read more
Jemena has completed the upgrade to the existing high pressure gas facility at Mount Annan, NSW that supplies a majority of South West Sydney. The upgrade has improved the gas supply to the current customers but also builds capacity in the gas network to cater for the growth in demand of the South West Sydney region including Leppington, Oran Park. Gledswood Hills and Harrington Park.
Jemena has completed the upgrade to the existing high pressure gas facility at Eastern Creek, NSW. The upgrade has improved gas supply to cater for the growth in demand in the Western Sydney and Blue Mountains regions.
