If your home is located within the Jemena Electricity Network area in Victoria, you can monitor your home or business electricity consumption whenever you need in My Portal.
My Portal can help you:
Please note: To track your usage, you'll need to provide your National Meter Identifier (NMI). Your NMI can be found on the electricity bills you receive from your retailer. Please provide the first 10 characters of your NMI when adding a new property to your account.
If you want to authorise an agent or third party to request your NEM12 electricity usage data and other information, you will need to fill out the JEN Customer Consent and Agent Authority form and return it to us with copies of your ID and other evidence if required.
The Home Area Network (HAN) is a wireless link between the Smart meter in your home and other compatible devices or appliances. For example, you can set up HAN device like In Home Display to monitor your real time electricity usage, which will help you evaluate high energy usage devices or appliances for your home or business.
How to connect HAN Device?
To connect your HAN device, the first step is to bind it to the smart meter at your property to ensure your data is kept private and secure. To do this, you will need to fill out and submit a HAN Device webform. Once received, you'll be sent a system generated enquiry ticket as your reference for further communication. Make sure your HAN device is turned on and in proximity to your smart meter.
