David Gillespie

Managing Director, Jemena

David joined Jemena in 2005 and has held a number of roles across Jemena, including positions in finance, strategy, and most recently as Chief Financial Officer, before being appointed Managing Director in December 2023.  

 

David’s previous experience includes six years at Deloitte in a variety of management roles. He has spent more than a decade as a Committee Member of the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute’s Audit, Finance and Risk Committee. David is also the Non-Executive Director of the Victorian Clinical Genetics Services, ActewAGL Joint Venture Board & UE Board.  

 

In addition, David is a member of the ActewAGL Joint Venture Board, the Champions of Change Coalition - Energy Group, and on The B Team’s Climate Leaders Coalition CEO group. 

 

David is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland.  

Sun Peng

Deputy Managing Director, Jemena

Mr Sun was appointed Deputy Managing Director at Jemena in August 2016. He was appointed as an Executive Director of the SGSPAA Board and Chairman of SGSPAA’s Risk Health, Safety and Environment Committee (RHSEC) in May 2017, and has been on the Board of Directors of all of SGSPAA’s wholly owned subsidiaries since August 2016.  

 

Mr Sun has more than 25 years’ experience in China’s power industry. During his career, he has worked in a range of senior engineering and senior management roles as Director and General Manager, working at Hubei Electric Power Company for more than 20 years. Mr Sun has intensive overseas working experience including UK and Australia as well as in-depth knowledge of management on overseas investment.   

 

Mr Sun holds a Bachelor Degree majoring in Power System and Automation and a Master Degree in Micro-Processor Based Protection from North China Electric Power University. In April 2017, Mr Sun was awarded professor level senior engineer technique qualifications by the Beijing Senior Specialised Technique Qualification Evaluation Committee. In addition, Mr Sun was appointed as a Director of the ActewAGL Distribution Partnership Board in July 2016, and is also a member of the ActewAGL Distribution Partnership Safety, Audit and Risk Committee. 

Kin Wah Yew

Deputy Managing Director, Jemena

Mr Yew was appointed Deputy Managing Director at Jemena in March 2018, following a long career in the energy, utility and banking sectors in Singapore, including stints in Tokyo, Paris and Hong Kong. 

 

Prior to joining Jemena, Mr Yew was the Managing Director of Finance at the SP Group and was involved closely with the Group’s merger, acquisition and integration activities in Australia. He had also previously held the position of Head of SP Group Treasury. Prior to joining the SP Group in 2004, Mr Yew had more than 16 years’ experience with international banks, holding key positions in the areas of Corporate Banking, Treasury, Risk Management and Asset & Liability Management. 

 

Mr Yew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and a Master in Applied Finance from Macquarie University in Sydney. He is a Board Director of the Jemena group of companies and is also a Board Director (Alt) of the ActewAGL Distribution Partnership. 

Kate Webster

Chief Financial Officer, Jemena

Kate joined Jemena in early 2024.  As Chief Financial Officer, she is responsible for the finance functions of the SGSPAA Group, including corporate strategy, corporate finance, treasury, financial management, taxation and shared financial services. Kate is also the executive responsible for the commercial and operational performance of Jemena's gas processing assets and connected pipelines.

 

Prior to joining Jemena, Kate has held several roles including most recently as CFO and co-CFO for a number of Australian-based energy infrastructure businesses.  


Kate’s experience also includes working for professional services firm Deloitte, specialising in the energy sector in both Australia and the United Kingdom. She also has a deep understanding of ESG frameworks in a financial context.

 

Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts (Finance Economics) from The University of Liverpool and is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Peter Iancov

Managing Director, Zinfra and Chief Strategy Officer

Peter joined Jemena and Zinfra in April 2019 following an established career spanning many decades in leading project management, construction, maintenance and operation of gas and electricity infrastructure assets and major facilities for major businesses. 

 

Prior to joining Zinfra, Peter held the role of founder and MD of his own company, along with senior roles of Group Chief Executive Officer of a major Western Australian contractor, and General Manager of WestNet Energy, Alinta Asset Management West - an asset management and sustainment business. He also has extensive Board experience in defence, utilities, ports, oil and gas contracting and Indigenous corporations currently being a non - executive director of Australian Naval Infrastructure, Tasmanian Development Board and aboriginal owned Yamatji Enterprises Ltd.  

 

Peter holds a Masters of Engineering (Electrical and Mechanical) and a post-graduate Degree in Robotics and Automation. He is a Fellow Member of Engineers Australia. 

Craig Ypinazar

Executive General Manager of People, Safety, and Governance, Jemena

Craig was appointed the Executive General Manager of People, Safety and Governance (PS&G) in December 2023. This role expands on his appointment as EGM of People, Safety & Resilience in 2021 and consolidates his acting coverage of several additional portfolios. The PS&G team includes Safety, People, Environment, Corporate Affairs, Legal, Risk & Internal Audit, Resilience, and Sustainability.
 
Craig has more than 25 years’ experience across high risk industries including mining, transport and energy. He has previously held senior positions in BHP, Rio Tinto and Yarra Trams and was a lawyer for Herbert Smith Freehills for almost 10 years. 
 
Craig has worked across Australia, Japan and Chile, holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (Queensland University of Technology) and Bachelor of Arts (Modern Asian Studies) from Griffith University and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland. In 2022 Craig completed the Harvard University Advanced Management Program and he is a Graduate Member of the Australia Institute of Company Directors. 

Shaun Reardon

Executive General Manager, Networks, Jemena

Shaun joined Jemena in 2007 and as Executive General Manager, Networks, he is responsible for the oversight of the Group’s electricity and gas distribution businesses servicing approximately two million customers. This includes responsibility for strategy, commercial, regulation, customer services, asset management, and network operations. Prior to this appointment he previously served as Executive General Manager, Customer and Markets, and has led multiple price reviews, business transformations and major projects across the Group’s electricity and gas networks. 

 

Shaun has 30 years' experience in the energy industry, having held management positions with Alinta and United Energy in areas including marketing, regulatory, strategy, customer services and commercial.  

 

He holds a Masters of Marketing and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is also a past President of the Australian Pipelines and Gas Association. 

Julien Capraro

Chief Digital Officer, Jemena

Julien joined Jemena in 2022 and as Chief Digital Officer, she is responsible for the transformation and simplification of our digital technology function and the development and deployment of Jemena’s digital strategy. 

 

Prior to joining Jemena, Julien developed her career as a dynamic leader with more than 20 years of corporate experience, creating and executing enterprise strategic roadmaps, leading transformational programs and ensuring technology platforms are fit for purpose, secure, and sustainable. She has worked across a range of diverse industries, including FMCG, superannuation, postal service, retail and building & construction.  

 

Julien holds a Bachelor of Business, Information Systems from the Royal Institute of Technology (RMIT). She is passionate about creating diversity within organisations and is active in helping change the game for women in digital. 

Cameron Dorse

Executive General Manager, Gas Markets, Jemena

Cameron joined Jemena in 2006. As Executive General Manager, Gas Markets, he is responsible for the commercial and operational performance of a portfolio of Jemena’s billion-dollar gas transmission pipeline assets and associated major gas projects.
 
Cameron is also responsible for the delivery of asset management and operational services across all of Jemena's gas transmission pipeline assets and gas processing assets. 
 
Prior to commencing as Executive General Manager, Gas Markets, Cameron was Chief Digital Officer at Jemena. He has more than 20 years experience in the energy industry, having held CIO positions and senior business operational roles within Alinta, TRUEnergy and TXU. He also has significant international experience rolling out new IT systems and processes for Mars Inc. across Asia and China. 
 
Cameron holds a Masters of Science degree in Biometry and a Bachelor of Science degree (Honours) in Mathematics and Statistics from Edinburgh University. He is also a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
