VicHub Pipeline

VicHub is an interconnect facility situated at the Longford Compressor Station

VicHub enables gas to flow bi-directionally between the Eastern Gas Pipeline and the Victorian gas transmission system. The VicHub facility was commissioned in January 2003.

Transportation services

  • VicHub offers Firm Injection services for flow of gas from the Eastern Gas Pipeline into the Victorian gas transmission system
  • VicHub offers As Available Withdrawal services for flow of gas out of the Victorian gas transmission system and into the Eastern Gas Pipeline
  • At present there is As Available Withdrawal Capacity and 30 TJ/d of Firm Capacity available for contracting

Maintenance plan

For the period 1 January 2012 to 31 December 2012, Jemena has scheduled maintenance as set out in the table below. This maintenance plan is current as of 30 November 2011 but may be subject to change. Relevant parties will be notified of any material changes.
