AquaNet, part of the Jemena group, has a long term agreement with Sydney Water to build own and operate the Rosehill Recycled Water Scheme. This scheme initially supplies 3 billion litres of recycled water to six foundation customers and has the capacity to supply a further billion litres of recycled water a year for additional customers in the surrounding areas of Parramatta, Westmead, Wetherill Park and Wentworth Park.

The project commenced construction in 2009, with the first recycled water delivered in October 2011. The project was the first to be delivered by the private sector in accordance with the NSW Water Industry Competition Act 2006.
A 20km network transports the recycled water to the industrial centres of Smithfield and Rosehill/Camellia. The network is built, owned and operated by Jemena.
