Paul Adams – Chief Executive Officer

Mr Paul Adams - Director and Managing Director

Mr Paul Adams has been the Managing Director of Jemena since November 2008.

Prior to his appointment as Managing Director of Jemena, Mr Adams was the General Manager, Network Services Group at SP AusNet from 1 April 2005 to 7 November 2008.  Prior to that, he held the position of General Manager of TXU Networks from 2003 to 2005.  He has over 25 years’ experience in the Australian energy sector and has performed a range of senior management roles in both technical and commercial disciplines. 

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (first class honours) and a Graduate Diploma of Management and Finance from Swinburne University.  In addition, he has also completed the Executive Development Programme with the Australian Graduate School of Management, the Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Leading Change and Organisational Renewal at Harvard Business School.

Lim Howe Run – Deputy Chief Executive Officer

Mr Lim Howe Run - Director and Deputy Managing Director

Mr Lim Howe Run is the Deputy Managing Director of Jemena.  He is also the Managing Director, Strategic Investments of SP group and is responsible for the management of overseas investments by SP group.

Prior to his appointment as Managing Director, Strategic Investments of the SP Group and Deputy Managing Director of Jemena, he held various positions in risk management, asset management and business development within the SP Group.

Mr Lim holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree from the National University of Singapore.

Mr Tony Beach - Executive General Manager Asset Strategy

Mr Tony Beach was appointed Executive General Manager Asset Strategy in May 2009. Tony comes to Jemena with extensive experience in engineering related management positions, having spent 3 years as General Manager Agility Asset Services from 2001, as well as other senior roles with Powercor, AGL, Pacific National Rail and Asciano and 26 years with the former Hydro-Electric Commission Tasmania.

Tony is also a Director of Aurora Energy and South East Water. He has a Bachelor of Engineering and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and also the Institution of Engineers, Australia.

Mr Patrick Patterson - Executive General Manager Infrastructure Services

Mr Patrick Patterson was appointed Executive General Manager Infrastructure Services in June 2009. Patrick comes to Jemena with significant management experience in electricity and gas distribution, water and waste water and related industries. His most recent corporate role was as CEO of Tenix Alliance Pty Ltd., a contracting services business that provides services to electricity, gas and water networks. Prior to this Patrick has held senior management roles nationally and internationally in both the private and public sectors including Western Mining, Kvaerner and the W.A. Government.

Patrick has degrees in Engineering and Commerce as well as a post graduate degree in Engineering. He is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Ms Joanne Pearson - Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining Jemena, Joanne was Head of Corporate Finance at SP AusNet. Joanne has more than 30 years experience in finance roles in the energy industry, working across all facets of finance including statutory and management accounting, taxation, treasury and mergers and acquisitions. Joanne has also held senior management roles in companies including AGL, Pulse Energy and United Energy.

Joanne holds a Master of Business Administration from Monash University and a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Victoria College. She was also Chair of CPA Australia's Victorian Industry and Commerce Committee for a number of years.

Shaun Reardon – Executive General Manager, Energy Investments

Dr Shaun Reardon - Executive General Manager Infrastructure Investments

Dr Shaun Reardon is responsible for the management of Jemena's energy infrastructure assets. Shaun was previously Group Manager Owner Interface of Alinta responsible for managing Jemena's shareholder interests in its partially owned infrastructure investments. Since 2003, Shaun has also been closely involved in the implementation of the contractual arrangements for Asset Management service provision to manage the Jemena and UED electricity networks and Multinet gas networks.

Prior to joining the company, Shaun was Manager Marketing and Business Performance at UED. He has over 15 years experience in the energy industry, having held management positions in marketing, business development, revenue management, strategy and commercial. Shaun holds a Masters of Marketing and a PhD in mechanical engineering and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

David Clerk – Executive General Manager, Strategy and Business Development

Mr David Clerk - Executive General Manager, Strategy and Business Development

Mr David Clerk is responsible for developing the short and long term business strategy, identifying and managing business development opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions as well as identifying commercial opportunities to build and operate assets on behalf of third parties.  He is also responsible for Jemena’s IT Strategy and the management of Jemena’s Operating Service Agreements with UED and MGH. Before joining Alinta in June 2004, David worked in various financial and strategic roles. David has a Bachelor of Commerce and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Cathy Bibby – Chief Information Officer EB Services

Ms Cathy Bibby - Chief Information Officer EB Services

Ms Cathy Bibby is responsible for the delivery of all information technology services to Jemena.  Cathy was previously the Chief Information Officer for Alinta, where she was also responsible for the delivery of all information technology services to the business.  Cathy joined Alinta in 2003.  Prior to Alinta, Cathy was the Chief Information Officer for National Foods, a national Australian dairy company, for 4 years and previously worked for Mars Incorporated for 15 years in a variety of information technology roles across the Asia Pacific region and Europe.

Cathy holds a Bachelor of Business with a major in accounting and law from Ballarat University.

Jodie Blake – Executive General Manager People, Safety and Services

Ms Jodie Blake - Executive General Manager People, Safety and Services

Ms Jodie Blake was appointed Executive General Manager People, Safety and Services in August 2009.  Jodie is responsible for providing strategic leadership, planning and direction to the organisation in relation to people, safety and services.  Prior to Jodie’s appointment, she was the Group Manager, Human Resources Operations at Jemena.  Jodie has extensive experience in all facets of human resource management including employee and industrial relations, organisational development and corporate integrations in energy related industries. 

Jodie holds a Bachelor of Business with a major in Human Resource Management as well as a Masters in Industrial & Employee Relations from Monash University.
