Green Team Initiatives

Jemena's Green Team comprises employees who volunteer their time to help create a caring and responsible culture within our workplace. This is achieved through identifying and implementing initiatives that minimise the impact our business has on our environment.

Purpose

• Discuss environmental issues relevant to the varied work practices and impacts of Jemena.
• Raise employee and contractor awareness of environmental issues using formal communication channels, such as the Intranet, internal publications and reports.
• Continuously improve the work practices and understanding of all Jemena personnel (employees and contractors) so the environment is always considered according to the principles reduce, reuse and recycle.

Green Team members are located at each site promote employees and contractors awareness of:

• Environmental initiatives in place;
• How such initiatives work;
• Why they are important;
• How employees and contractors can participate; and
• Who to contact regarding initiatives.
