A pop of unexpected electric blue will be transforming five Jemena electrical power boxes around Footscray as part of community arts initiative, BluScray.

Marking the centenary of Victoria University, BluScray will see a series of blue-themed community events, lighting installations and public artwork colour the streets of Footscray.

As a BluScray program supporter, Jemena has commissioned artist Cezary Stulgis  to transform power boxes into works of art reflecting the themes of ‘blue’ and ‘bringing energy to life’.

A sculptor, painter and designer, Cezary is known for his vivid and highly distinctive sculptures, street art and paintings.

The power box art will all be professionally coated in long life anti-graffiti coating with the hope that they will be enjoyed for years to come.

BluScray is a collaboration between Victoria University and Maribyrnong City Council as part of Footscray University Town and the VU Centenary. Events will be running throughout 2016.

Jemena is proud to support a vibrant community arts initiative in the heart of its distribution network.
