Paul Adams has been the Managing Director of Jemena since November 2008. Prior to his appointment as Managing Director of Jemena, Mr Adams was the General Manager, Network Services Group at SP AusNet from 1 April 2005 to 7 November 2008. Prior to that, he held the position of General Manager of TXU Networks from 2003 to 2005. Paul has over 25 years’ experience in the Australian energy sector and has performed a range of senior management roles in both technical and commercial disciplines.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (first class honours) and a Graduate Diploma of Management and Finance from Swinburne University. In addition, Paul has also completed the Executive Development Programme with the Australian Graduate School of Management, the Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Leading Change and Organisational Renewal at Harvard Business School.
John van Weel was appointed Executive General Manager Works Delivery in October 2011. John has held several positions within Jemena, including, Executive General Manager Infrastructure Services, General Manager, Gas for Jemena and Manager, Gas Transmission at Alinta Asset Management. John has worked in a variety of senior roles and organisations, including National Power Services and Alinta Gas Networks, and he has worked at United Energy, Multinet Gas and the Gas & Fuel Corporation of Victoria.
John holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree from the Chisholm Institute in Victoria and a Management Diploma from Deakin University of Victoria.
Prior to joining Jemena in 2010, Joanne was Head of Corporate Finance at SP AusNet. Joanne has more than 30 years experience in finance roles in the energy industry, working across all facets of finance including statutory and management accounting, taxation, treasury and mergers and acquisitions. Joanne has also held senior management roles in companies including AGL, Pulse Energy and United Energy.
Joanne holds a Master of Business Administration from Monash University and a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Victoria College. She was also Chair of CPA Australia's Victorian Industry and Commerce Committee for a number of years.
Shaun Reardon is responsible for delivering all current portfolio responsibilities. Shaun was previously Executive General Manager Assets & Investments as well as Group Manager Owner Interface of Alinta where he was responsible for managing Jemena's shareholder interests in its partially owned infrastructure investments.
Since 2003, Shaun has also been closely involved in the implementation of the contractual arrangements for Asset Management service provision to manage the Jemena and United Energy electricity networks and Multinet gas networks.
Prior to joining the company, Shaun was Manager Marketing and Business Performance at United Energy. Shaun has over 15 years experience in the energy industry, having held management positions in marketing, business development, revenue management, and strategy and commercial. Shaun holds a Masters of Marketing and a PhD in mechanical engineering and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Jodie Blake was appointed Executive General Manager People, Safety and Services in August 2009. Jodie is responsible for providing strategic leadership, planning and direction to the organisation in relation to people, safety and services. Prior to Jodie’s appointment, she was the Group Manager, Human Resources Operations at Jemena. Jodie has extensive experience in all facets of human resource management including employee and industrial relations, organisational development and corporate integrations in energy related industries.
Jodie holds a Bachelor of Business with a major in Human Resource Management as well as a Masters in Industrial & Employee Relations from Monash University.
Tina Ooi is responsible for overseeing the management of Jemena's legal and company secretarial matters. Prior to her appointment in January 2010, Tina held a number of senior legal roles within the Jemena business. A former Senior Associate of Freehills, Tina has extensive legal experience and has provided legal advice and services in the energy and infrastructure industries for over 15 years. In addition to her roles within Jemena, Tina's worked at companies including Freehills, Pulse and United Energy.
Tina holds a Bachelor of Law (Hons.) / Commerce from Melbourne University and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association.
Alf Rapisarda is responsible on an acting basis for the management of Jemena's electricity, gas and water infrastructure assets. Alf will subsequently return to his previous role as General Manager Gas and Water Networks Jemena, responsible for managing Jemena's NSW gas network and the AquaNet business.
Alf has previously worked in a wide variety of engineering, operational, and retail business roles within AGL, Alinta and Jemena since joining in the organisation in 1978. Alf holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration.
